Tara Bam Sevashram is the Heavenly Abode of Trilokajanani Tara Ma & Her eternal Divine Child Bamdev,the Incarnation of Shiva.This sevashram was founded by the Sri Bipul Kumar Gangopadhyay whose spiritual name is Taranando Swami and now with his son Tarashis Gangopadhyay and with his disciples all over the world he is establishing this ashram for helping the mankind for their ultimate spiritual realisation.
The ashram was founded for propagating the onensess of Vaishnava dharma and Shakto dharma as well as to enlighten the devotees to the path of light.He is succeeded by Tarashis Gangopadhyay,the great author,yogi as well as the 1st vice president of Tara Bam Sevashram.
Tarabam sevashram is one of the greatest spiritual sevashrams of the world in spreading the names and kripa of Godess Mother TARA throughout the world and also in doing the benevolent activities like to work for the spiritual well being of the human race devoid of class,creed and religion..
বামাখ্যাপা (১৮৩৭-১৯১১)
বামাখ্যাপা (১৮৩৭-১৯১১) ছিলেন একজন তান্ত্রিক। তিনি তারাপীঠে বাস করতেন। তিনি তারামায়ের ভক্ত ছিলেন এবং মন্দিরের কাছে শ্মশানঘাটে সাধনা করতেন। তিনি রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংসের সমসাময়িক ছিলেন। ছেলেবেলায় গৃহত্যাগ করে তিনি কৈলাশপতি বাবা নামে এক সন্ন্যাসীর শিষ্যত্ব গ্রহণ করেন। কৈলাশপতি বাবা তারাপীঠে থাকতেন। বামাখ্যাপা তারাপীঠেই যোগ ও তন্ত্রসাধনা করেন। ক্রমে তিনি তারাপীঠের প্রধান ধর্মীয় ব্যক্তিত্ব হয়ে ওঠেন। ভক্তরা জানতেন তাঁর অলৌকিক ক্ষমতা আছে। তাই তাঁরা রোগারোগ্য ও অন্যান্য প্রয়োজনে তাঁর কাছে আসত। বামাখ্যাপা মন্দিরের নিয়মকানুন মানতেন না। এমনকি দেবতার থালা থেকেই নৈবেদ্য তুলে খেয়ে নিতেন। নাটোরের মহারানি স্বপ্নে তারামায়ের প্রত্যাদেশ পান যে, দেবীপুত্র বলে বামাখ্যাপাকে যেন আগে খাওয়ানো হয়। এরপর থেকে মন্দিরে পূজার আগেই বামাখ্যাপাকে নৈবেদ্য প্রদান এবং তাঁকে অবাধে মন্দিরে বিচরণ করতে দেওয়া হত। দেবী তারামা ভয়ংকর বেশে বামাখ্যাপাকে দর্শন দিয়েছিলেন এবং পরে মাতৃবেশে কোলে তুলে নিয়েছিলেন
Bamakhyapa
Bamakhyapa worshipped Mother in the form of Tara and became a famous Tantric saint practicing sadhana at the Trapith cremation ground. Bamakhyapa was born in 1837 near Kali devotee Bamakhyapa Tarapith in the village of Alta. His father died when Bamakhyapa was very young and therefore his mother and widowed elder sister were the first ones to give him spiritual instructions. They told the boy ancient Hindu stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharata, and it was due to their efforts that Bamakhyapa developed a spiritual sentiment early in life. He enjoyed singing devotional songs in which he became rather good at, to the delight of his mother and elder sister. Bamakhyapa proved inept to perform any kind of work, all he wanted to do was worship Mother Tara. Whenever he saw a red hibiscus flower, he thought of Ma Tara and then all of a sudden lost his consciousness. He had heard about Kailaspati Baba, the well-known Tantric who was believed to be a realized soul. Bamakhyapa went straight to his cottage and recognizing Bamakhyapa’s potential for spiritual realization, the Baba accepted him as his disciple. Bamakhyapa began to practice serious Tantric sadhana under the guidance of Kailaspati Baba. Bamakhyapa was in the habit of moving around completely naked. One day someone asked him, “Why are you naked?” Bamakhyapa replied, “My Father (Shiva) is naked; my Mother (Tara) is also naked. So, I am practicing that. Moreover, I don’t live in society. I live in the cremation ground with my Mother. So I have no shame or fear!” Soon Bamakhyapa became famous for his yogic powers and even people from far away came to see him. Some sought nothing but his blessings while others asked to be healed or helped in distress. Bamakhyapa healed many sick people with his psychic powers. Bamakhyapa was not learned but the Mother revealed everything to him, as he used to say. The saint of Tarapith through his holy presence sanctified the place and the people who came in contact with him. He entered mahasamadhi (final liberation) in 1911.
Sri Bipul Kumar Gangopadhyay
Sri Bipul Kumar Gangopadhyay is one of the best spiritual author and a great saint of West Bengal.He is the first president of Tarabam Sevashram,one of the organised ashrams of this country.
He is one of the greatest spiritualist , religious author as well as one of the leading SIDHHA saint of India. Born in 9.1.1935, this saint author astonished the world with his MAGNUM OPUS on Indian spiritualism "MAHAPITH TARAPITH" in 5 volumes.(This book in Bengali language contains a thorough study on Indian religion,on the saints who had attained salvation in Tarapith,on the total life history of BAMDEB,the AVTAAR of SHIVA.It also contains the salvation of JESUS CHRIST in India after his crucifixion).
The author's celebrated book"SADHU SANYIDHHE SADHU MANISHI "( An unique vicinity of the INDIAN SAINTS among themselves) & "SADHU SANYIDHHE RABINDRANATH "( About Rabindranath's visit to the saints) also received the admiration of the readers.
